Hiking
Sommarhagen is situated amongst enchanting forest and lakes in step and undulating terrain. The area is called The wilderness of south Östergötland with a scarcity of population to be compared to the north of Sweden This makes the area perfect for beautiful walking tours. Choose to walk for a couple of hours or maybe several days!
We have 12 clearly marked out trails to choose from, with maps and walking instructions – there is something to suite both the experienced walker and the amateur. And it is no coincidence that Östgötaleden, the regional footpath, passes by just outside the gates to Sommarhagen.
